Rotem Weiss

Rotem Weiss is the founder and CEO of Tavily, an AI-native web search infrastructure company backed by Alpha Wave Global and Insight Partners. In 2026, Tavily was acquired by Nebius, bringing its agentic search capabilities into a broader AI cloud platform. He is also an active angel investor, backing early-stage startups in the AI ecosystem. Previously, he co-founded GPT Researcher, one of the first autonomous AI research agents, and worked across data science and engineering at Talenya (acquired by Paycor). Rotem holds a BA in Computer Science from Columbia University.
