Kathy Kam

Kathy Kam is the Director of Engineering at AWS Agentic AI. She leas the AWS DevOps agent, one of AWS's Frontier Agents. These autonomous systems are designed to act as extensions of engineering teams, scaling massively and running persistently to deliver complete outcomes without intervention. Prior to her work in Agentic AI, Kathy led several foundational developer services at AWS, including AWS Amplify, the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) and Amazon ECS. Her deep expertise in the developer ecosystem spans major industry leadership roles, including serving as the Head of Open Source for Meta, as well as engineering leadership roles at Google Cloud, Android, and Mirosoft's Developer Division, where she worked on the .NET framework. Kathy specialize in developer productivity and API design.
