Apoorv Agarwal

Apoorv Agarwal, Ph.D., is a global authority on enterprise AI, having spent the last decade architecting intelligence infrastructure for Fortune 500 organizations. Previously, Apoorv served as Co-founder and CEO of Text IQ (a venture backed start-up acquired by Relativity). Under his leadership, the company revolutionized how major institutions manage sensitive data. For example, Text IQ’s software was used in the CVS/Aetna merger, T-mobile/Sprint merger, Qualcomm/Apple litigation, and the Department of Justice used the software for criminal investigations. Currently, Apoorv is the Co-founder and CEO of a stealth venture backed start-up focused on applying AI to the world of Capital Projects, Energy, and Construction (think data centers, LNG terminals). Apoorv earned his Masters and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Columbia University, where he serves as an adjunct professor. Early in his career, he was part of the team that built IBM Watson, which won the game show Jeopardy! He was awarded the prestigious IBM Ph.D. Fellowship for his patents on Watson.
